Excellent all rounder cag. Completely waterproof and very breathable. Generous front pouch and fleece lined pockets to warm up your hands. Great value for money. I use it for both kayaking and walking. 5'9" and bought the large which fits well with some extra room for layers.

I bought this cag to use when open canoeing. I do a fair bit of multiday expedition canoeing and I wanted a cag that would keep me dry and comfortable during these trips and while just out on day trips. I'm very impressed with the breathability of the Palm Vantage. Initially I thought I might sweat while wearing it which has not been the case. The fit is good with room for a mid layer whilst still being manoeuvrable. The hand warmer and kangaroo pocket are somewhat redundant when wearing a PFD. It was originally a choice between the Vantage and the NRS high tide. Having recently seen the high tide up close I don't regret buying the Vantage instead. I would say they are very similar and it would be hard to choose between them.
