Excellent paddle, best joint I've even seen!

Great paddle for a more challenging trip. Adjustable joint is excellent, easy to set required angle, with no free play. Good feedback from the blades.

Lightweight

Great service from Escape Watersports (again). I emailed in advance to see if the paddle was available and was promptly informed that the website only includes live stock. Ordered with standard 2 to 5 day delivery and received within two days. The tybee paddle itself is spot on for an entry level / mid-range paddle. Nice and light and I've noticed a considerable difference from previous paddle. I went for the cf version as I like the fact that the paddle is black but I tested this alongside a friends tybee paddle with plastic blade and both he and I agreed that the cf version is 'slightly' stiffer in the water. Can be used as high angle paddle and relaxed for lower angle also if needed. If you're considering a more expensive paddle and aren't sure, it may be worth trying this paddle and then using it as spare later. That's my plan anyway. I'd recommend both the paddle and would definitely buy from escape watersports again.
