HF Turtle Back

Its ok, probably better suited to shorter kayaks, my Large Dagger at 9 foot code and very top heavey when using the Turtle Back. the build quility is very good, Id probably use it more as a harnes for dragging the kayak. also geting in and out of the harness if used on your back with a large 9 foot creak boat is a bit of a pain. Id say the Thurtle Back would be perfect for shorter kayaks, but for the larger boats your better off carrying it on your sholder

HF Turtle Back

I have a small Pyranha Scorch and when using the turtle back system the back of my boat hits the back on my achilles tendon. So I think I am too small 5ft5 for this system. I have tried putting a pull cord throght the bow grab handle to pull it away from my heels but this would be really difficult on a long walk in because it effects the ballance. I have messed around with the set up but it puts the ballance all out and the weight of the boat nearly pulls me over. My next step is to take it to some friends and see if they can work out a way to make this work. I also need to figure a way to fix the boat to me with the hull of my boat on my back instead of the cockpit.
