The Cressi Maui is characterized by its lightness and ease of use, making it an ideal choice for those without specialized leg conditioning. Its compact dimensions allow for easy stowing without compromising performance, as it was developed using the same advanced finite element technology as the Impulse and Sprint models.

The blade utilizes dual-material technology, featuring two rigid lateral wings that channel water into a softer, more elastic central section. This creates a "spoon effect" that generates significant propulsive force.

Designed for use with bare feet or light socks, the fin features a soft, anatomical rubber heel piece and a fabric-covered EBS (Elastic Bridle System) strap to protect the internal elastic.

To ensure a precise fit, the EBS strap includes a dedicated cleat for micro-adjustments, allowing the user to tighten or loosen the tension depending on their footwear. The grab handle is designed to wrap closely around the ankle to reduce protrusion and prevent chafing while swimming. For dive center use, the heel pieces are color-coded by size to facilitate easy identification.
