Very sturdy but with a really easy clasp, I am 68 year old woman with less than agile hands but I can clip this on and off my paddle board with ease. Perfect for self recovery.

Palm Side swing HMS Autolock Karabiner

Bought as I liked the idea of a locking gate, over the plain snap gate. Will go round a paddle shaft, but a wider gate would make it easier. Remember to add some sort of float to it, or it will sink if you drop it!
