Founders Robert "doc" Scott, M.D and Brenda Scott-Rogers created Doc's Proplugs in 1977. Dr Scott's research led him to discover the effects that frequent exposure to cold water can have on the ear, which is what encouraged the invention of Doc's Proplugs in the first place. Their products are known to have the most features for both simultaneous comfort and protection.
